My client is a vibrant business operating in the leisure business and due to continued growth are now looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.
This newly created position will be an ideal opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the wider finance team in a variety of duties within the team.
What you will be responsible for :
- Deal with telephone queries from customers', supplies and other third parties as required
- Processing of all cash and bank receipts
- Reconciliation and processing of weekly expenses BACs payment
- Posting of accounting journals into our accounting package Sage 200
- Allocate receipts to sales invoices
- Ensure that customer's balances reconcile to Sage
- Ensure suspense account is cleared monthly
- To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
- Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Have excellent attention to detail
