Location: Lancaster
Salary:£29,640 per annum (£15.00 per hour)
Contract Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Hours:38 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
8:00am 6:00pm on a two-week rolling rota
Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2:Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a compassionate and experiencedCare Team Leaderto join the teama purpose-built luxury care home in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a professional, supportive care environment.
As a Care Team Leader, you will oversee day-to-day care delivery, ensuring residents receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of care staff, supporting with medication management, and ensuring the home runs smoothly in the absence of the management team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the care team, ensuring all shifts are effectively coordinated and managed
Supervise care delivery, providing coaching, guidance, and on-shift leadership
Ensure accurate and timely handovers, escalating any concerns appropriately
Manage rotas to ensure appropriate staffing and skill mix
Support medication management, including administration and recording
Facilitate team meetings, provide performance feedback, and assist with staff development
Maintain high standards of person-centred care and promote dignity, respect, and safety at all times
What Were Looking For
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a care setting with a strong understanding of elderly and dementia care
Proven leadership experience, including supervising and mentoring staff
Confident in medication administration and following safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering quality care
