Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager you will help with the smooth operation of various processes and conduct analysis to improve our supply chain operations which will help increase Growtivation's efficiency and reduce costs.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers by regularly contacting and/or meeting with suppliers sales representatives.
- Co-ordinate supplier reviews to put business out to tender and/or negotiate with existing suppliers where required.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and logistics providers to organise collection of orders from suppliers and delivery to our warehouse.
- Assist with research for new and secondary/backup suppliers for existing products that meet or improve on our criteria for quality, packaging, reliability, cost and trading terms.
- Forecast, schedule and place purchase orders with suppliers and organise transport where required.
- Regularly review min/max stock levels and re-order quantities for different stock lines and primary and secondary suppliers.
- Conduct research into markets/products, including testing and trials to determine the viability, potential revenue/margins, costs, sources of supply, target customers and route to market for (new) product developments and innovation.
- Contribute to building a pipeline of (new) product developments and a process to vet them for viability, impact and prioritisation.
- Attend and participate in weekly/monthly operations meeting.
- Using data and reporting from sources such as ERP and BI systems to streamline & improve procurement processes & decision making.
Required Experience/Skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data & understand product technical information
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Great negotiator
- Problem solver and innovative mindset
- Strong organisational skills
- Previous experience in supply chain, international procurement/purchasing and importing is highly desirable
What we offer:
- Role Type: Full-time 40 hours per week + 1hour break - Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 depending on experience
- Discretionary Bonus Scheme
