Salary: Up to £30,000 (Dependent on Experience) + Generous Bonus
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (44 hours per week)
Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join a well-established plumbers merchant team as a Branch Assistant. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and providing essential administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Counter Assistance/ Driving/ Warehouse (as required):
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Accurately process sales transactions and manage account-related queries.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Promote new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist in the warehouse as required, loading/ unloading.
- Driving the van delivering plumbing and heating products.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a plumbers' merchant environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and heating products is advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
