Manufacturing Engineer - Larne, Northern Ireland
Contract: 12 months (likely to extend)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 37.5 hours/week
4-day work week - Fridays off!

Pay Rate: 18.99 PAYE / 25.38 Umbrella

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop, analyse, and manage manufacturing and assembly projects

  • Support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and ensure smooth transitions to production

  • Drive efficiency improvements, process control, and cost-per-hour targets

  • Create and maintain documentation including standard work and process flows

  • Lead problem-solving initiatives for operational, ergonomic, and quality issues

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of jigs, fixtures, and tooling

  • Analyse bay performance and implement continuous improvement strategies



What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in engineering or manufacturing

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Motivation, initiative, and a team-oriented mindset

  • Experience with Microsoft Office; SAP and AutoCAD are desirable

  • A degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a relevant technical discipline



Additional Details:

  • Interview: One-stage, face-to-face

  • Working Hours:

    • Monday: 07:30 - 17:45

    • Tuesday-Thursday: 07:30 - 17:15

    • Flexibility available on start and finish times

  • On-site Role: All PPE provided
