About the Role:
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of manufacturing operations-designing, developing, and implementing systems and processes that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You'll work across departments, supporting New Product Introductions (NPIs), solving complex production challenges, and contributing to continuous improvement projects that drive performance and reduce costs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage manufacturing and assembly projects, from planning to execution.

  • Develop capital and expense budgets to support operational needs.

  • Collaborate across engineering and production teams to support smooth NPI integration.

  • Analyse and enhance manufacturing bay performance and support cost-per-hour reduction goals.

  • Drive efficiency improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives across value streams.

  • Create and maintain essential process documentation, including standard work procedures.

  • Address operational challenges through creative problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Assist in selecting and applying advanced machine tools and technologies to boost productivity.

  • Support the design and implementation of complex jigs, fixtures, and tooling solutions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong practical experience with manufacturing processes and lean methodologies.

  • Proven ability to contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and routine maintenance practices.

  • Experience supporting or managing engineering solutions and problem resolution.

  • High emotional intelligence, openness to collaboration, and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in engineering or a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering.
