A leading FE college in East Surrey is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced AAT Lecturer to join its Business & Professional Studies team. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and support on Level 2 and Level 3 AAT courses within a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging AAT lessons in line with curriculum requirements
Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored academic support
Act as a personal tutor and deliver pastoral support
Promote student attendance and engagement
Assist students in securing relevant work placements
Contribute to course development and continuous improvement initiatives
Attend team meetings and participate in review and planning activities
Scheduled Teaching Hours:
Mondays & Wednesdays: 8:45am - 5:00pm
Tuesdays: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Essential Criteria:
Level 3 Teaching qualification (or higher)
Minimum Level 3 Business or AAT qualification (a degree is preferred)
Proven FE teaching experience delivering AAT courses
Relevant industry experience or professional qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Level 2
