Are you a Network Architect or similar looking to join a tight-knit expanding business currently leading the way in the construction industry, that creates and manages IT infrastructure all over the UK.
Do you want an office/site-based role where you will work with construction companies all over the UK, developing the blueprints for how networks should be structured across various smart buildings, which are designed based on specific operational requirements.
On offer is the opportunity for a Network Architect or similar to join a niche, industry leading companies that delivers end-to-end IT infrastructure which use their technical expertise to create networking solutions with the goal of creating a secure and scalable for the future. On offer is also the chance to work with the newest technology in the industry and use one of the world's leading manufacturers of flat-glass to produce glass-based solutions to improve connectivity, network performance and electromagnetic environment for smart buildings.
In this role you will use design networks for various construction companies for a range of wide projects to ensure the appropriate solution is implemented for the client's various needs. This includes end-to-end on-site implementation, ensuring the network infrastructure components meet all the required obligations. This includes connectivity, cybersecurity & data protection, Cloud integration & collaboration tools, IoT and Smart equipment as well as scalability and business continuity.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering and possess certifications such as Cisco CCNP Routing, with additional certifications like CCT or CompTIA Network+/Security+. You will have approximately 8 years of experience in network design and architecture, preferably in environments with complex infrastructure demands.
