  • Conduct routine maintenance and scheduled service checks on CHP systems in line with manufacturer protocols.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty mechanical/electrical components to minimise downtime.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement timely resolutions.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for emergency breakdowns, including out-of-hours work.
  • Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and efficient problem-solving.
CHP EngineerRequirements:
  • Proven experience maintaining CHP systems, gas engines, or similar power generation equipment.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical engineering background.
  • Recognised qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ) in Gas, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Gas Safe Registered certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and manage on-call shifts.
  • Manufacturer-specific training (MAN, Liebherr, MTU).
