  • Job Title: Community Neuro Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

  • Location: Surrey (Borough of Sutton, South West London)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Community Neuro OT and make a real difference in the lives of adults and older adults with complex neurological conditions. In this role, you will:

  • Assess and treat patients in community settings including private homes, care homes, and GP practices

  • Manage patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, head injury, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other progressive disorders

  • Deliver high-quality rehabilitation and support for long-term condition management

  • Plan and carry out community visits across the Sutton borough

  • Work as part of an MDT, collaborating with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration

  • Strong experience working with neurological conditions

  • Previous community rehab experience

  • Experience working with both adults and older adults

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently across community settings

Desirable:

  • A car and valid UK driving licence

  • Experience using EMIS

  • NHS Smartcard access

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday. The role requires flexibility and the ability to carry out a set number of visits across the borough. The contract is ongoing with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and service needs.
