Our client, an incredibly well-established Food Manufacturer whom distribute to/are stocked in all of the major UK Grocers, are looking to recruit an experienced, passionate Senior Account Manager to oversee their largest Supermarket clients, in addition to generating new business. Working on a hybrid basis with the potential to progress as the company continues to grow, this is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate!Our client have been established for over 30 years and provide healthy food products through a variety of brands. In addition to their huge UK market presence, they also distribute to customers across the globe, and are in a steady rate of growth/development. Due to an internal move, they are now seeking the perfect candidate to oversee a £12m+ P&L, with scope to not only increase existing client spend, but to also develop new client business. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:- Overseeing an existing portfolio of 10+ B2B client accounts, including the company's largest Grocer- Full P&L responsibility for client portfolio- Nurturing each unique client in order to ensure satisfaction, and also increase/diversify spend- Negotiating trade terms, joint business plans, price increases and any promotional plans- Pursuing new business opportunities across the UK (and Europe)- Monitoring the performance of commercial activities and preparing monthly reports for senior leadership team- Line Managing 2 x junior members of the teamIn order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:- Experience of working in either a SNAM or AM capacity, with direct exposure of owning a large Grocer/Supermarket account- Experience of working within an F&B business (and, thus, experience of liaising with relevant category buyers)- Experience of conducting regular business reviews in order to increase/diversify client spend- Strategic, analytical and commercial mindset- Experience of exceeding growth/revenue targets- Fantastic knowledge of market trends/competitor activity/industry innovations- Fun, sociable personality- Full, clean UK driving licenceIn addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:- Annual bonus (15%)- Incredible progression opportunities- Hybrid-working policy (3 days in the office / 2 days working from home)- Flexible working hours (option to start/finish early/late, based on your schedule)Our client are looking to move very quickly on this, so any interested candidate(s) are urged to apply at their earliest convenience!
