We're seeking a dedicated Service Manager to oversee and develop high-quality outreach services supporting adults and children affected by domestic abuse.About the Role:As Service Manager, you will play a vital role in the strategic and day-to-day management of outreach services, ensuring delivery is efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices. You will manage a team of outreach staff, oversee safeguarding procedures, contribute to funding evaluations, and represent the organisation in multi-agency settings.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of outreach services
  • Manage and support a team of 5-7 outreach staff, including supervision and appraisals
  • Ensure services meet performance targets and quality standards
  • Oversee safeguarding procedures and support staff in managing concerns
  • Contribute to policy development and maintain compliance with legislation
  • Work with leadership on strategy, data reporting, and funding submissions
  • Promote the service through partnership working and training delivery

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and service delivery
  • Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse or similar vulnerable groups
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and risk management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, monitor impact, and contribute to reports
  • Compassionate, resilient, and committed to equality and inclusion
  • Full driving licence and access to transport

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of domestic abuse services, welfare rights, housing, or family law
  • Experience in preparing funding bids or working in the voluntary sector
