Leeds - up to £38,000pa (dependent on experience)

We are working with a fantastic client based in Leeds looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to be part of their growing finance team.

Responsibilities as an Assistant Management Accountant:
- Responsible for accurate and timely monthly management accounts e.g. Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Perform month-end activities e.g. journal postings, accruals and prepayments.
- Support finance team ensuring day-to-day transactional tasks (invoicing, AP, AR) are completed accurately and on time.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements of the role:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent or qualified by experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of Xero.
- Extensive experience working at a similar level within a finance team.
