Role responsibilities

  • Leading audits from planning through to completion, including on-site fieldwork and reporting
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with UK accounting standards
  • Managing a mixed portfolio of audit and accounts clients across different industries
  • Supervising and reviewing work prepared by junior staff, providing coaching and feedback
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building relationships and handling queries
  • Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Supporting senior management with ad hoc assignments and business development activities
