Role responsibilities
- Leading audits from planning through to completion, including on-site fieldwork and reporting
- Preparing and reviewing year-end statutory accounts in accordance with UK accounting standards
- Managing a mixed portfolio of audit and accounts clients across different industries
- Supervising and reviewing work prepared by junior staff, providing coaching and feedback
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building relationships and handling queries
- Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Supporting senior management with ad hoc assignments and business development activities

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified with strong experience in audit and accounts preparation
- Confident leading audits and producing high-quality financial statements
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
- Experience managing junior team members and reviewing their work
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments
- A team player who enjoys taking responsibility and contributing to wider firm goals
