The Role
Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and working on a hybrid basis, duties and responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst will include:
- Take full ownership of the month-end process, including preparing, reviewing, and ensuring accuracy of journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
- Act as a key financial business partner to commercial teams, providing strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct variance analyses to evaluate performance against budgets or forecasts, highlighting trends and areas of opportunity or concern.
- Forge relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, marketing, sales) to align financial strategies with broader organisational goals.
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:
- Experienced in commercial finance (management accounts / business partnering / financial analysis)
- Qualified / Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA accountant
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Strong Microsoft skills - exposure to SAP and PowerBi advantageous
Salary & Benefits
In return, the successful FP&A Analyst will receive the following:
- £35,000 - £43,000 base salary
- 27 days holidays + bank holiday
- Hybrid working patterns from the Leeds office - including flexible hours
