Description
- Manage a portfolio of outsourcing clients, providing bookkeeping and management accounting services
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients
- Process sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns
- Assist with payroll processing and related compliance
- Communicate with clients to gather information and provide accounting guidance
- Support senior team members with year-end accounts preparation
- Identify opportunities to improve clients' financial processes
Profile
- AAT qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an accounting role within practice
- Strong knowledge of major accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext)
- Experience with cloud accounting solutions
- Knowledge of Making Tax Digital requirements
- Previous client-facing experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team player with a client-focused approach
