Project Architect required to support the delivery of various Sports & Leisure Sector projects across the UK.

This highly respected Leeds based AJ100 Architectural Practice is renowned as one of the UK's premium architectural brands.

Known for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors, the practice is currently seeking a talented and driven Project Architect to join its growing team, with a particular focus on sports and leisure developments.

This is a unique opportunity to work on some of the most engaging and community-focused projects in the UK, from leisure centres and arenas to health & wellness facilities and recreation hubs.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Architect:

  • Lead projects through all RIBA stages, with a focus on design and delivery of sports & leisure facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external consultants to develop and deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
  • Take a proactive role in client liaison, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
  • Ensure designs are compliant with relevant regulations, planning requirements, and sustainable design principles.
  • Contribute to and oversee BIM Level 2 workflows using Revit as a core design tool.

What We're Looking For:

  • Fully qualified ARB-registered Architect with 5-10 years post-qualification experience, including demonstrable work in the sports or leisure sector.
  • Proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects through to completion.
  • Excellent design and technical skills, with the ability to balance creativity and practicality.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
  • A confident communicator, able to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Passionate about the social value of architecture and enhancing community wellbeing through thoughtful design.
