We have a great opportunity for an Industrial Painting Assistant to join our client, a well-established engineering manufacturing organisation within the Leeds area. This is a temporary position until the end of January, with the potential to be extended at that time.
Your role will involve:
- Assisting the industrial painters with the preparation of a variety of components ready for spraying
- Clean tools, paint guns, spray booths, and work areas after use.
- Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primers as required.
- Support painters in mixing paints, coatings etc.
The role will be working days with overtime available and paid at a premium rates. The option to be paid Umbrella is also available.
Ideally, you'll have experience with industrial paint preparation within in a similar environment. Candidates with paint spraying experience will also be of interest.
