Catch 22 are currently looking for a Planned Preventative Maintenance Operative to work for the NHS in LS10. You will be supporting the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of community equipment to ensure it remains safe, functional, and compliant with regulations.
Duties:Â
- Carry out planned preventitve maintenance, basic repairs and safety checks on equipment (e.g hoists, beds, wheelchairs).
- Clean, sanitise and ensure equipment meets infection control and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and report any faults or equipment issues.Â
There will be a lot of manual handling in this role, as well as taking apart equipment (wheelchairs, beds etc..) and making sure they are put back together correctly.Â
Hours: 37.5hrs per week. Monday to Friday. 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm (rota)
Pay: £12.36 per hour (Band 2)
Start: Immediate
This will be a temporary ongoing role until June 2025 with the possibility of this being extended/perm opportunity.Â
As the job will be with the NHS, the successful candidate will have, or will be willing to be put through, a standard DBS check.
