Production Operative

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a large manufacturer to recruit a Production Operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment based in Sherburn in Elmet. 

Role: Production OperativeShift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.15-4.30, Friday 7.15-12.15Location: Sherburn in ElmetHourly Rate: £12.79

Responsibilities:

• Picking and preparing materials for production
• Loading and unloading machines
• Performing quality and quantity checks
• Packing and labelling products
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Keeping the factory floor clean and hazard-free
• Working to production schedules and deadlines
• Operating forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment (once trained)
• Reporting any issues or near misses to the Team Leader
• Being flexible to support overtime and shift changes when needed

Requirements:

• Forklift experience is preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Confident, proactive, and motivated approach to work
• Good attention to detail and a methodical mindset
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• A team player who can also work independently
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of ISO 9001 quality standards is a bonus
