FP&A Analyst

FP&A Analyst – Hybrid (Leeds / Remote) – c£50,000 (depending on experience)

A leading UK business is seeking a talented FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in Leeds.

The Role:

You’ll support key strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will drive profitability and operational efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver insightful Board and Executive-level financial outputs
• Analyse divisional performance against budget and forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow including Working Capital and Capex) monthly
• Develop and improve best practices for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
• Identify trends and opportunities through detailed performance analysis at various business levels
• Create new MI and KPI reports for key stakeholders

What You’ll Need:

• Professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with FP&A or commercial finance experience
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel modelling (experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX desirable)
• Experience with financial systems and data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a large, complex business environment
• Background in retail sectors or similar (advantageous but not essential)
