My client is a small boutique B2B PR agency, originally based in Leeds but now work 95% remotely with regular monthly meet ups and socials. They are looking for a proactive, results-driven account executive with a passion for B2B and tech PR. They need a creative ‘can-do’ executive to join their award-winning team, to work across a diverse selection of tech, manufacturing and professional services clients.

As a key member of a small but growing team, you’ll help create compelling PR strategies and campaigns, produce high-quality written content, build strong relationships with target media and make the clients feel well supported. The agency’s aim is to be a seamless extension of their marketing team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be responsible for ensuring momentum on your accounts with proactive media relations and opportunity sourcing.
  • Developing targeted, engaging and technical written content ranging from thought leadership articles and feature responses, to press releases and LinkedIn content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key B2B media, updating media lists and pitching stories effectively.
  • Actively managing client communications, contribute to meetings and demonstrating an understanding of the client and their market/industry
  • Support senior team by helping with reporting and analysis of campaign performance by tracking media coverage and LinkedIn page performance
  • Input into new business presentations and participate in competitive pitches

Requirements:

  • Proactive results focused attitude.
  • Organisational skills to manage admin across all clients.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to draft interesting, accurate content for a B2B audience.
  • Strong media relations experience. Be confident picking up telephone to journalists and able to adjust pitching to match the media outlet.
  • Curiosity and an interest in B2B.
  • Client relationship management experience.
  • Skilled in handling multiple accounts, maintaining monthly reports and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Experience using LinkedIn and LinkedIn pages
