This role is a new Bid Manager hire for a market leading legal firm, reporting into an experienced Head of Business Development. The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing end to end bids processes, across multiple sectors and industries.

The Bid Manager - Legal Services role will involve:
- Lead the bid process from qualification through to contract award.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for bids.
- Monitor the market and competitor activities to inform bid strategy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout the bid process.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of bid processes and practices.
- Provide regular reports on bid performance to senior management.
Profile
For the Bid Manager - Legal Services role, applicants should have:
- 2+ years experience in a Bids related role, ideally in a lead management capacity. Although more junior applications will be considered.
- A background in professional services, in particular the legal space, is preferred. Other sector based experience may include financial services, business services.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to lead autonomously in a Bids role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- High attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality proposals.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Job Offer
On offer for the Bid Manager - Legal Services role:
- Base salary up to 55,000 - experience dependent.
- Hybrid working set up - 2 days onsite per week.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays + option to buy an additional 5 days.
