Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds | Leading National Law Firm | Hybrid Working

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join the Leeds office of a nationally recognised law firm known for its commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to individuals and their families.

This role offers a supportive, inclusive working environment where career development and well-being are genuinely prioritised. You will join a highly experienced clinical negligence team handling complex, high-value claims – particularly those involving birth injuries and spinal cord injuries.

The Role

Working as part of a collaborative team led by a respected senior partner, you will manage your own clinical negligence caseload, while also assisting on high-value, multi-track cases. The team specialises in serious injury matters, often securing interim payments to support rehabilitation, care packages and suitable accommodation for clients before settlement.

This is an ideal opportunity for a solicitor who thrives on challenging work that makes a tangible difference in the lives of clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of complex clinical negligence claims from instruction through to resolution
  • Assist senior solicitors on catastrophic injury cases involving brain and spinal injuries
  • Provide clear, practical legal advice to clients in often emotionally sensitive situations
  • Utilise strong analytical and commercial skills to identify key legal issues and outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the best results for clients
  • Actively contribute to the continued success and growth of the clinical negligence department

About You

As the successful candidate, you will be a qualified Solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE and a demonstrable track record in clinical negligence litigation. You will have:

  • Experience handling or assisting on multi-track, high-value clinical negligence claims
  • A client-focused approach with the ability to offer compassionate, clear advice
  • Strong attention to detail and case management skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in claimant clinical negligence law
