Job Title: Real Estate ParalegalSalary: £26,000 - £28,000Location: Leeds, West YorkshireThe OpportunityWe're seeking a capable and committed Real Estate Paralegal to join our well-regarded Commercial Property team. This is an outstanding chance to grow your experience and take on varied, high-value work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your RoleYou will support fee earners in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, managing both routine and complex tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling post-completion work (SDLT returns, lease renewals, multi-lease sales, etc.)
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications (transfers, charges, notices, etc.)
  • Drafting and negotiating legal documents:
  • Licences to assign
  • Licences to underlet
  • Licences for alterations
  • Reviewing title documents, preparing lease summaries and reports
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, local authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with compliance protocols
  • Supporting legal research and documentation tasks as required

What We're Looking ForYou'll be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident handling responsibility in a dynamic team. Key skills and experience include:

  • Previous experience as a Real Estate or Commercial Property Paralegal
  • Strong understanding of post-completion processes and property documentation
  • Excellent time management and document organisation skills
  • Strong communication skills with a professional, client-focused approach
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management software is a plus
