Our client is a small, independent nursery in Leeds looking for a dynamic Room Leader to join thier close-knit team and help shape the next generation of curious, confident learners.

The Role

As Room Leader, you'll be a key part of our leadership team, responsible for:

  • Leading a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality, play-based learning in line with the EYFS

  • Creating a stimulating, inclusive environment that promotes exploration, independence, and creativity

  • Supporting key person responsibilities, including planning next steps, tracking progress, and building strong partnerships with parents

  • Championing safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour strategies

  • Bringing fresh ideas to enhance our continuous provision, outdoor learning, and cultural capital



What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified (or above) in Early Years Education

  • Experienced in leading a room or ready to step up into leadership

  • Confident in observing, assessing, and planning in line with the EYFS

  • A strong communicator who can inspire both children and colleagues

  • Passionate about inclusive practice, school readiness, and early intervention

  • Creative, reflective, and full of ideas to make learning magical
