- Supporting the Customer Services EHS team with responsibilities across management systems, compliance, and operational processes.
- Assisting in the delivery of the EHS strategy and roadmap in alignment with wider business goals.
- Leading and supporting investigations to enhance safety practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with site teams and management to ensure effective and consistent EHS practices.
- Acting as a subject matter expert across auditing, inspections, and governance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Managing EHS risks associated with operations, projects, and processes.
- Maintaining accurate EHS reporting and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence staff and leadership teams.
- Strong investigative and analytical thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.
- A collaborative team player who thrives on driving improvement.
- A proactive attitude toward ongoing professional development.
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Membership of a professional EHS body (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM).
- Practical experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or heavy industry environment.
- Experience in the rail industry, especially rolling stock maintenance, is highly desirable.
