Civil Engineer

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to be an active member of a well-established civil and structural engineer consultancy, in a permanent position. As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on-site from our client's office near Leeds, in which you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and office car park projects, as an asset to a highly skilled team.

-Competitive salary ranging from 30,000-60,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop civil engineering designs, from concept to detailed design, across a variety of projects, with a large focus on earthworks and drainage.

-Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.

-Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation aligned with regulations and client needs.

-Ensure all work meets health & safety standards, sustainability objectives, and industry best practices.

-Monitor site-based operations by conducting inspections, carrying out surveys, and verifying as-built conditions against design specifications.

What we are looking for:

-Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with experience ranging from a graduate level, with 3+ years of experience, to a senior level engineer.

-Must have extensive experience with Civil3D, Infodrainage and Microdrainage, and data centre projects.

-Prior experience working on Drainage, Earthworks, and Cut and fill.

-Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards (ICE preferred).

-Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

-Strong communicator with problem-solving and teamwork skills.
