A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified Commercial Property Solicitor to join my clients highly regarded firm in their Leeds offices on a hybrid basis.

Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified up to one year PQE solicitor / Legal Executive who wishes to develop their career within a supportive, friendly, experienced and hard-working team.

The role involves dealing a wide range of commercial property matters, including freehold, leasehold, refinancing, deeds of variation, from file opening to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Running a case load of client matters.

• Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client’s initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures.

• Taking instructions from clients accurately and advising accordingly.

• Obtaining and preparing file documentation.

• Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.

• Maintaining legal knowledge and skills.

• Contributing to maintaining and improving office procedures.

• Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

The Candidate:

• NQ - 1 Years PQE

• Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.

• Strong technical knowledge to express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and customer-friendly way.

• Ability to work accurately in accordance with the requirements of each team.

• Works well under pressure.

• Time management & organisation.

• Ability to work on own initiative and as a team.

• Ability to prioritise your work and work remotely, as some of the working week will be working from home.
