Are you an experienced legal secretary looking for a new opportunity in a well-established, supportive team? Our client, a respected law firm based in Leeds, is seeking a dedicated Litigation Secretary to join their busy Litigation department.
This full-time, permanent position has become available due to the departure of a long-standing team member who has been with the firm for over 22 years - a testament to the firm’s excellent working culture and stability.
The Role:Working alongside one other secretary, you will support a team of three key fee earners, with additional support provided across the wider litigation group, including partners and senior solicitors.
Your responsibilities will include:

Typing and formatting a range of legal documents and correspondence

Assisting with billing and time recording

File management, including file opening and closing processes

Diary and calendar management

Supporting multiple fee earners with administrative tasks

Liaising with clients, courts, and other legal professionals as required

Previous experience as a legal secretary in litigation, ideally commercial or property litigation

Strong typing and document formatting skills

Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail

Confident communicator with a proactive and team-focused approach

Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple priorities
