An expanding and highly regarded Legal 500 firm is looking for a Senior Remortgage Paralegal to join its specialist remortgage team. The Role

As a Senior Remortgage Paralegal, you will manage a high-volume caseload of complex remortgage transactions from instruction to completion, including:

  • Transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership matters
  • Defective title issues
  • Deeds of postponement
  • Estate rent charges
  • Complex restrictions

You will be responsible for handling around 150 new remortgage instructions per month, using an advanced case management system to ensure transactions are progressed efficiently. You’ll liaise directly with clients, borrowers, lenders, and third parties, ensuring excellent communication and high service standards.

In addition to managing your caseload, you’ll support junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and contributing to the firm's collaborative and supportive culture.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in remortgage or residential conveyancing
  • Technical knowledge of complex matters such as deeds of postponement, shared ownership, transfers of equity, defective title, estate rent charges, or similar
  • Ability to manage volume workloads efficiently while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong client service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
