Senior Technical Caseworker – Remortgage

An expanding and reputable L500 law firm is seeking a Senior Technical Caseworker to join its specialist remortgage division. The Role:As a Senior Technical Caseworker, you will handle a high-volume caseload of complex remortgage transactions from inception to completion. These may include:

  • Transfers of equity
  • Defective title issues
  • Deeds of postponement
  • Complex restrictions
  • Estate rent charges
  • Shared ownership matters

You will manage approximately 150 new remortgage instructions per month, using the firm’s case management system to progress transactions efficiently and accurately. You will liaise directly with clients, borrowers, and third parties, maintaining excellent communication and ensuring service levels are met.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and guidance in line with the business’s collaborative culture.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in remortgage or residential conveyancing
  • Working knowledge of at least some of the following: transfers of equity, deeds of postponement, defective title, shared ownership, complex restrictions and estate rent charges
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client care
  • Comfortable managing a volume caseload in a deadline-driven environment
