Job Title: Site Manager - Steel Frame New Build Apartments

Location: Manchester

Contract Type: Permanent or Freelance (Negotiable)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a steel frame new build apartment project in Manchester on behalf of one of our established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high profile development from the ground up, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractor management and progress monitoring

   

• Ensure health & safety regulations are strictly followed

   

• Maintain quality control and ensure works are carried out to specification

   

• Liaise with project managers, architects and engineers

   

• Keep accurate site records and manage reporting and scheduling

   

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing steel frame residential or commercial builds

   

• Valid CSCS Card

   

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certified

   

• First Aid at Work certification

   

• Strong leadership and communication skills

   

• Ability to drive progress while maintaining safety and quality standards

   

Contract Type:

This role can be offered on a permanent basis or as a freelance contract, depending on candidate preference and availability.
