Job Title:Â Electronics Technician (Contract)
Location: Flexible (On-site or Remote if you have the equipment at home)
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks (with potential for additional work)
Project Overview:Â We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to assist with the production of around 150 interface assemblies. This is a crucial role involving delicate soldering and assembly work. You can carry out the work on site at the client's premises in Leeds or from home if you have a basic lab set up. We are open to negotiating either an hourly rate for your time or a quoted price for the entire job lot (per assembly or the total job). We are open to candidates who may be taking holiday to complete this work, allowing for potential double pay, and those who wish to work in evenings or weekends alongside other employment.

Electronics Technician - Responsibilities - Soldering Iron, PCB, Printed Circuit Board, Assembly:

Strip cables to specific lengths using a provided tool.

Assemble connectors by slotting wires into place.

Solder 24 gauge wires to board holes.

Utilize 3D-printed jigs to aid in the assembly process.

Potentially perform additional remedial soldering tasks for stock items too.

Electronics Technician - Requirements -Â Soldering Iron, PCB, Printed Circuit Board, Assembly:

Good hand eye coordination and motor control for the 'fiddly' nature of the assembly.

Experience with fine soldering and electronic assembly is needed.

Ability to work accurately and repetitively.

If working remotely, must possess a soldering iron and be willing to use provided tools and jigs.
