About Us

We are a growing events company in Leeds (with a sister company in balloon decor and wholesale) looking for someone to join our team to help with logistics and operations in a part-time role of 25 hours per week, which has scope be full-time. The hours can be arranged flexibly, based on the needs of the business.

The Role

We are looking for an Delivery & Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on and physical role involving:

  • Delivering and setting up event equipment and décor to venues across Yorkshire. This typically includes light up letters and numbers, photo booths, balloon displays and/or purchases from our wholesale business.
  • Planning effective routing for deliveries using software and mobile devices, to meet the needs of our clients and ensure everything is done on time. This may involve some liaising with our clients.
  • Organising logistics and routes for weekend delivery staff and ensuring our equipment is ready for events at those times.
  • Ensuring equipment is handled safely and returned in good condition, with responsibility for carrying out basic maintenance and presentation tasks (e.g., painting props, light repairs).
  • Maintaining our warehouse facilities and vehicles, including keeping these clean and organised, vehicles fuelled and stocked with equipment and handling supporting the wider team with logistics and operations.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, punctual, and organised - with the ability to problem solve and be self-sufficient where needed.
  • Comfortable driving vans around Yorkshire (UK driving licence with less than 6 points and over the age of 25 for insurance).
  • Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to learn.
  • Able to commit to Monday to Friday, 9am - 2pm, with a degree of flexibility for both sides based on business needs.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Technically competent, with ability to use computers and software to plan routes effectively and use our bookings system.
  • Excellent standard of written and verbal English.
