**Design Researcher** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Leeds/Hybrid (2 days on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Profile

As a Design Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our banking services. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and user interviews to gather valuable insights that inform design decisions. Your work will directly influence product development, ensuring we meet and exceed our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to gather user insights and identify pain points.
• Facilitate usability testing and analyse results to recommend improvements.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to collect user feedback and preferences.
• Synthesize research findings and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research into design processes.
• Test content to ensure clarity and effectiveness in communication.
• Influence stakeholders with compelling research narratives that guide product strategy.
• Contribute to projects centered around change, ensuring user perspectives are prioritized.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong skills in usability testing and conducting user interviews.
• Excellent research synthesis skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong influencing skills to effectively communicate research findings to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in testing content to ensure user comprehension and engagement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A passion for understanding user behaviour and translating insights into design solutions.
