TML Recruitment have been retained by an industry-leading, UK wide property consultancy with over £90M turnover in their search for a Senior Surveyor up to Associate level within their award winning valuation team. Working from their prestigious, Leeds offices, this market leading team caries out a diverse range of valuation instructions covering all asset classes. Their patch operates throughout the North West, predominantly in Leeds City centre, working with some of the UKs most prestigious commercial clients. The team currently of 6 staff making it large enough for a solid team but small enough for the selected candidate to make impact which is what they want with a clear directive to get the selected candidate to partnership. You will report into the Partner and head of department who is extremely well known in the market place who will offer you excellent guidance wherever you may need it along with an amazing career development plan.

What will you be doing in this role?
A large bulk of this role includes Providing valuation advice to clients for loan security, accounts and other purposes including, tax, acquisitions, disposals and financial reporting. This would be on behalf of a really diverse client base, making sure there is a real varied work load. Clients would include major lending organisations including UK clearing banks and alternative lenders, investors, developers, local authorities and landed estates. Our client is a tier 1 consultancy you will have the opportunity to work on some really exciting instructions that you may not get at other firms.
Responsibilities?
- Produce detailed, Red Book valuation reports to a very high standard
- Report to clients and senior colleagues
- As a Valuation Surveyor you will Adhere to internal processes, lender requirements and RICS regulations
- As a Valuation Surveyor you will building professional business through networking internally and externally
What experience is needed?

MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer
-
Experience in writing clear and concise reports and providing strategic property advice and due diligence
- Capabilities in Microsoft applications as well as Argus enterprise and development packages. (training can be given).
- Experience of statutory, development and investment valuations across different asset types
- Willingness to oversee and assist junior colleagues where required,
- Demonstrable communication skills
