Quantity Surveyor – Highways
Location: Leeds
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Package

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure contractor in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly driven commercial team, working on a portfolio of highways projects across the region.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of NEC-managed contracts. You will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple schemes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring value is maximised and risks are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

Administering and managing contracts under NEC forms.

Managing costs, valuations, variations, and subcontract accounts.

Preparing and presenting accurate financial reports.

Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timescales.

Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, supply chain, and stakeholders.

About You

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts (essential).

Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (desirable but not essential).
