TheWorkshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Maintenance Engineerwill have experience fitting / servicing industrial mechanical engineering products / systems such gearboxes, turbines, generators, pumps, motors, valves, compressed air, hydraulics, mechanical seals, fans, blowers and or similar mechanical engineering products.

- Will provide service, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of industrial engineering products and systems such as gearboxes, turbines, couplings, generators, and other rotating equipment products at the workshop in Leeds.
- Make sure that all gearbox products are in line with manufacturing specifications before leaving the workshop for delivery.
- Will be responsible for inspection and testing of all equipment returned to branch, including fault finding and diagnostic work of gearboxes, turbines, couplings, generators, and other rotating equipment products.
- Ability to complete technical documentation as work progresses
- To perform other duties as assigned from time to time and liaise with various engineering departments
Workshop Engineer / Workshop Fitter / Maintenance EngineerRequirements:
- Experience as a workshop engineer, workshop fitter, gearbox engineer, gearbox, maintenance engineer, rotating equipment engineer, fitter, mechanical fitter, electro-mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer, service engineer, service technician or similar within mechanical / industrial engineering.
- Will have a good mechanical engineering background with experience servicing, maintaining and fitting industrial mechanical engineering products such as gearboxes, turbines, generators, pumps, motors, valves, compressed air, fans, blowers, hydraulics, mechanical seals, and or similar mechanical engineering products.
- An Engineering qualification, such as HNC, HND, or Apprenticeship, is advantageous.
- Willingness to commute to the workshop daily in Leeds.
