Search Consultancy are currently working with a small business based in Sherburn in Elmet who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team to report into the Finance Manager!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Processing of supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices
- Covering of the accounts receivable ensuring customers are paying in a timely manner and to terms
- Bank Reconciliation
- Cash posting
- Entering Payroll Journals
- Assisting the finance manager with month and year end
- Any ad hoc duties where required
Successful candidate will possess:
- Experience working with Sage 50 desirable
- Microsoft proficient
- Knowledge of VAT
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to timed deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
Whats on offer:
- Salary up to 32000 per annum
