Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in sales ledger or credit control? We’re supporting a fast-growing organisation to recruit a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their busy and collaborative finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role within a supportive team environment, and who thrives in a high-volume, deadline-driven setting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and sending out sales invoices and credit notes
- Importing invoices into finance systems and processing card payments
- Managing customer communications and account queries
- Handling leavers, processing refunds, and resolving fee discrepancies
- Posting cash and supporting with direct debit runs
- Assisting with month-end close processes and audit support
- General finance admin including filing and query forwarding
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a sales ledger or credit control role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, team-oriented approach and ability to manage your own workload
- Comfortable handling high transaction volumes and multi-site operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Sage Intacct is a bonus
- Experience with customer or public sector contracts would be advantageous
