We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a reception-aged pupil with Autism. The child is non-verbal and engages in a lot of sensory play, with a key focus on developing communication. There are no behavioural or physical challenges—this is a calm and supportive role for someone who genuinely enjoys early years and SEND support.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in an EYFS or primary setting
  • Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic about child development
  • Have strong communication skills and an understanding of alternative communication methods
  • Be reliable and committed to making a positive impact in a child's early education
