RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for this Leicester based business in the search for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant on a permanent hybrid basis. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to showcase your skills as a Bookkeeper / Management Accountant and really grow your career. Reporting to an experienced manager, your role will support all aspects of general accounting and finance within the business to contribute to the achievement of financial objectives. Our client is looking for someone who enjoys a variety of work. You'll be joining an experienced Team, all with the common goal of achieving the best that they can be.Â
The role is commutable from Leicestershire and Warwickshire.
What are the main aspects of the Bookkeeper / Management Accountant?
- Sage or Xero (ideal but not essential)
- Journal for payrolls
- Account reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT Returns
- Processing payments via BACS
- Knowledge of accruals and prepayment
- Dealing with HMRC as and when needed
- Liaising with clients and internal member of finance
- Preparing or assisting with Management Accounts
Who do we want as the Bookkeeper / Management Accountant?
- Minimum of 12 - 18 months in a similar role
- Previous Bookkeeping is essential
- Effective communication skills are a must
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
