My client is a well-established chartered accountancy firm with a team of professionals, delivering dedicated, personal, and high-quality accountancy and business advisory services across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued business growth, they are now seeking an experienced audit professional to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio, build, and maintain strong client relationships, and play a key role in supporting the firm’s continued success and development.
 
The role

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors.
  • Oversee audits from planning through to completion in line with ISA (UK) and FRS 102.
  • Review files, ensuring quality and compliance with firm and FRC standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing insight and identifying value-added opportunities.
  • Liaise with partners on risk management, client performance, and technical matters.
  • Support business development initiatives, tenders, and proposals.


The candidate

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • 5 years’ audit experience in a UK practice.
  • Confident leading audits independently from planning to completion.
  • Strong working knowledge of FRS 102 and ISA (UK).
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills.
  • Organised, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects.
