We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Leicestershire, who are recruiting for a Senior Assets Accountant on a temporary 2 - 4 month contract.

This is a part time position (2/3 days per week) is due to start immediately and can be available on a remote basis. The daily rate is negotiable, dependent on experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong background using Asset 4000/RAM.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring our fixed asset register and general ledger are accurate, with full coverage of tenures, components, depreciation, and grant schedules
  • Driving continuous improvements across asset accounting
  • Preparing management reports, statutory accounts, KPIs, and supporting the budget and forecasting process
  • Working closely with Treasury & Financial Planning and other teams on capital expenditure
  • Maintaining robust controls and accurate reconciliations

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing is desirable
  • Experience working with Asset 4000/RAM is essential
