- Processing insurer payments and managing the client account
- Supplier payments and basic credit control
- Data entry into QuickBooks
- Using Acturis to manage finance-related tasks (experience highly beneficial)
- Assisting with management accounts in the future
- General office duties including stationery orders, incoming post, and occasional ad-hoc tasks (e.g. placing online orders)
- Speaking with clients over the phone regarding account queries
- Providing support across multiple teams as needed
- Previous office and/or accountancy experience (insurance experience a bonus)
- Acturis experience would be ideal
- AAT qualification would be great but not essential
- Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone
- Able to learn quickly and work with minimal supervision once trained
- Proactive, flexible, and happy to get stuck in
- 25–30 hours per week, split over 5 days (ideal for school hours)
- Office based at first, with flexible working available once trained
