The Company:

The Role - Commissioning Engineer:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning mechanical systems and equipment at client sites around the UK, and overseas. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
  • Carry out testing, alignment, calibration, and troubleshooting on-site.
  • Work from technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure smooth handover and system operation.
  • Assist with mechanical upgrades, retrofits, and ongoing support.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience commissioning mechanical systems in an industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
