Your new companyOur client, an established contractor operating in the water industry, is seeking an experienced Foreman to join their team. This multi-accredited and high-profile contractor has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent Water, specialising in clean and waste water infrastructure projects, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to expand their delivery team.

This is a full-time permanent position based within the East Midlands region, overseeing day-to-day on-site operations for their AMP8 works.

Your new roleAs Foreman, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating activities of direct labour and subcontractors on-site
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and project timelines
  • Conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks and safety meetings
  • Maintaining accurate records of work progress
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve potential issues and ensure smooth workflow
  • Mentoring and training junior staff.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor in the water industry, ideally on pipeline installations and pumping station works
  • CSCS, SSSTS and First Aid qualifications
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence.
