Role Overview - Learning & Development Trainer (Claims):This role sits within the wider L&D team and focuses on delivering learning interventions that support the Claims Operations department. You’ll lead training initiatives that enhance technical capability, promote excellent customer outcomes, and support individual performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver interactive, engaging training sessions across a range of platforms and learning styles.

  • Lead induction, technical, systems, and soft skills training for new starters and existing colleagues.

  • Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational goals.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness, providing reports and insights to support ongoing development and improvement.

  • Deliver one-to-one coaching and targeted learning support to individuals and teams.

  • Contribute to content creation and digital learning initiatives, ensuring materials remain current and impactful.

  • Work closely with the Claims leadership team to support change initiatives and learning rollouts.

About You:

  • A strong background in the insurance sector, with specific experience in claims processes and operations.

  • Proven experience in delivering structured training programmes, workshops, or coaching sessions.

  • Confident communicator with excellent facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Able to adapt your style to suit varied learning needs and engagement preferences.

  • Data-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on measuring training impact.

  • Skilled in stakeholder collaboration and relationship management across all levels.
