Job Title: Bench Hand Joiner
Location: Leicester (LE2)
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu
Pay Rate: 15.00 to 18.00 per hour DOE

About the Role
Our client is a creative design and manufacturing business specialising in bespoke retail environments, furniture, and interior installations for well-known UK brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and finish bespoke retail furniture and display units from technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate a wide range of woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, routers, planers, and sanders.
- Work with a variety of materials such as hardwood, MDF, laminates, and solid surfaces.
- Ensure a high-quality finish on all joinery work, maintaining attention to detail and craftsmanship standards.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other joiners to ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and timely completion of projects.
- Participate in assembly and fitting of units within the workshop, with occasional support for on-site installations.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner or similar role within a manufacturing or shopfitting environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Competent in the safe use of woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
